About me
Hi there! My name is Dana, and I am a crafter based in the Bay Area, just outside of San Francisco. Ever since I rediscovered my love for knitting and (sometimes) crocheting in the midst of the pandemic, I found myself very deeply immersed in the community.
Recently I realized I am fascinated by knitting and crocheting trends, and was wondering what was popular at the moment, as well as what the community's preferences were in the past. I created a couple of widgets to help me with the lookup - and found a bunch of cool and even free patterns that I can add to my library.
The lookup is organized by seasons for now because that's how I like to plan my projects. I also included the pattern finder based on gauge - I notice that I always buy yarn before I have a project planned (which is a horrible habit that I need to get rid of), so looking for a pattern based off of my gauge is very helpful.
